THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading commercial foreign exchange provider and authorized by the CSSF, Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier as a payments services firm.

The Sales department is responsible for the strategic planning of overall business growth within Europe, identifying opportunities with prospective clients for currency products (FX, Spot, Forwards) as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients as you will build your own portfolio of clients and increasing their business revenue.


JOB OVERVIEW:


An Account Manager is responsible for the management of the Sales relationships with existing client accounts as well as prospecting new clients.

The account manager's functions as the interface between clients and the Dealing team and work closely with the Compliance and Risk department to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Build a robust and accurate sales pipeline and forecast;
  • Developing and maintaining long standing strong client relationships.
  • Gaining and maintaining current market knowledge (e.g. reading financial press, attending webinars etc.);
  • Reaching sales targets/KPI's on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis;
  • Keeping accurate records and client interaction notes in the CRMsystem (in line with GDPR requirements);

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A proven track record in sales preferably in the financial sector, however not essential.
  • Previous FX or sales experience with existing cold calling sales experience.
  • Degree level or equivalent.
  • Commercially driven high achiever
  • For those with lower experience (23 years) there will be a strong focus on needing to have pitched into Clevel (preferably CEO, CFO, CIO not marketing/HR/IT)
  • Multilingualism is a competitive advantage
