- We are looking for a Loan Officer for a 6month period to cover for a maternity leave in the Financing Solutions team.
SEB Luxembourg branch serves as the hub for Private Wealth Management & Family Office (PWM&FO) services to Nordic nationals living abroad.
It is also the base for many of SEB's funds and offers global custody and related depositary services to financial institutions.
We are around 150 employees with over 22 different nationalities.What you can expect
- As a Loan Officer, your key responsibility will be to ensure timely completion of international mortgages and other credit facilities as well as proper maintenance of granted credit facilities though their life cycle.
- You will support Private Bankers in the implementation phase of credits by drafting credit facility and related agreements and by liaising with our external partners (valuation companies, lawyers, notaries) in UK, France, Spain and other markets.
- You will ensure proper and timely booking of loan facilities by Loan Operations in Global Services as well as monitoring of credit facilities through their life cycle.
- You also will participate in various projects related to crossborder lending.
Who are you? - To succeed in this role, you have at least several years of experience in credit processes, particularly in international mortgages and/or other credit facilities both with regards to private individuals as well as investment companies.
- You are service minded, solution oriented and continuously seeking areas for improvement. You use new and unexpected situations as an opportunity to learn and grow.
- You are structured and are successful in prioritizing to meet key deadlines. You are also a natural team player, which allows you to collaborate effectively within the team and cross departments.
- To excel in this role, you are willing to take all necessary trainings and certifications for the position. You have an excellent command of English and preferably French both written and spoken; Spanish considered as an advantage. Good command of MS Excel and MS Access is advantageous.
