This is a highly involved role, requiring strong analytical capability, commercial judgement and a genuine interest in infrastructure and transport/environment-related sectors.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support all aspects of the transaction process, including:

  • Due diligence processes, including coordination with external advisors.
  • Review and negotiation of legal documentation alongside senior team members and advisors.
  • Preparation of investment committee materials, internal presentations and transaction notes.

You will also be involved in the asset management of portfolio companies, including:

  • Supporting value creation initiatives and key strategic decisions alongside senior investment professionals and portfolio company management teams.
  • Monitoring financial and commercial performance across portfolio companies.
  • Supporting periodic valuations, business plan updates, reporting and investor communication materials.
  • Assessing and validating value creation opportunities, including tender bids, M&A add-ons, refinancing opportunities and wider strategic initiatives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2–4 years’ relevant experience, including internships where applicable, from an infrastructure fund, private equity fund, M&A team, project finance team, corporate finance team or investment banking platform.
  • Strong academic background from a leading finance, business, economics, science or engineering programme.
  • Excellent analytical, valuation and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A genuine interest in long-term investing, infrastructure and transport/environment-related sectors.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; an additional European language would be beneficial.

Location

The role is full-time and based in Luxembourg. Candidates must either already be based in Luxembourg or be willing to relocate.
