Do you understand how decisions are made within German hospitals, and can you build credible relationships with nursing directors, human resources leaders and hospital management?
Jobandu is expanding its established workforce business by developing a specialised healthcare division focused on helping German hospitals recruit internationally educated nursing professionals.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Healthcare Business Development Manager to develop relationships with hospitals and clinic groups, initially within approximately 150 kilometres of Bitburg in Rheinland Pfalz.
The role
You will manage the complete commercial process, from identifying relevant hospitals and decision makers to presenting our solution, developing proposals, negotiating commercial terms and closing agreements. This is not a call centre role or a position focused only on booking meetings. You will take ownership of customer development and sales, supported by Jobandu management and our recruitment and operations teams. The role will involve telephone and digital outreach, online meetings and regular personal meetings with hospitals in the target region.
Your responsibilities
· Identify and contact relevant hospitals, clinic groups and decision makers
· Build relationships with nursing directors, nursing management, human resources leaders and hospital management
· Understand each hospital’s current and future staffing requirements
· Present Jobandu and our international nursing recruitment solution
· Arrange and lead commercial meetings
· Develop proposals based on each customer’s specific requirements
· Manage follow up, negotiations and the complete sales pipeline
· Close agreements with new hospital customers
· Record all activities, opportunities and next steps in our CRM system
· Coordinate closely with Jobandu management, recruitment and operations
· Provide structured market feedback to support the development of our healthcare business
Your profile
· Native level or excellent German language skills
· Strong spoken and written English skills
· Previous sales experience with hospitals, clinics or other healthcare organisations is a must
· Alternatively, relevant experience within healthcare recruitment, nursing recruitment, medical staffing or the sale of products or services to hospitals
· Proven experience developing new customers and closing commercial agreements
· A professional and credible communication style
· Confidence when communicating and negotiating with senior decision makers
· A structured, independent and reliable working approach
· Experience using telephone outreach, email, LinkedIn and CRM systems
· Existing relationships with hospitals or clinic groups are a significant advantage
· A valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the target region
Working conditions
· Permanent, full time employment
· The position is hybrid, combining home working with regular presence at the Jobandu office in Luxembourg
· Candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of Luxembourg
· The balance between home working and office presence will depend on the candidate’s location and business requirements
· Regular travel to hospitals and clinic groups within the target region will be required
· Calls and meetings will mainly take place during normal hospital business hours
What we offer
· A competitive fixed monthly salary
· An additional performance based bonus
· Support from Jobandu management, recruitment and operations
· Professional sales materials and CRM tools
· Short decision making processes
· The opportunity to help build and shape a new healthcare business area within an established workforce company
