Our client is a leading advisory firm supporting international corporations, private equity funds, family-owned businesses and financial investors with their strategic transactions.
As part of the continued growth of its Corporate Finance practice, our client is looking to recruit an
M&A Manager or Senior Manager
to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial and international team.
The Role:
You will join a dedicated Corporate Finance and M&A team advising clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle.
Working closely with Partners and senior executives, you will play a key role in delivering complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
Assignments include, but are not limited to:
- Buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions;
- Capital raising assignments;
- Strategic restructurings and reorganisations;
- Joint ventures;
- Corporate development and other strategic Corporate Finance projects.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the execution of M&A transactions from initial preparation through to successful completion;
- Advising executives, shareholders and investors on strategic transactions;
- Overseeing financial analysis, business valuations, financial modelling and strategic assessments;
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout the transaction process to ensure efficient execution;
- Preparing and reviewing key client deliverables, including investor presentations, financial analyses, valuation reports, information memoranda and decision-making materials;
- Supporting business development initiatives through the preparation of proposals, pitches and client presentations;
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members;
- Contributing to the continued growth of the Corporate Finance practice by leveraging your expertise, market knowledge and professional network.
Your Profile
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline. You bring approximately 6 to 12 years of relevant professional experience , gained within:
- an M&A or Corporate Finance advisory firm;
- a Transaction Services / Deals practice;
- an investment bank;
- or the Corporate Development / M&A department of a large international organisation. You have a proven track record of successfully executing complex transactions and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You also demonstrate:
- Strong financial modelling and business valuation capabilities;
- A solid understanding of M&A processes and transaction structuring;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Outstanding client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with C-level executives;
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing and developing junior professionals. A professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, CAIA or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset. You are fluent in English , both written and spoken.
