About the Role
To further strengthen the Group's strategic decision-making capabilities in the European market, Weichai Luxembourg is now publicly recruiting for a strategy research position. This role will be deeply involved in industry research, market analysis, strategic planning, and investment evaluation for the Group's operations in Europe. It is well-suited for professionals with solid research capabilities, sharp business acumen, and an international perspective. Candidates with backgrounds in consulting, research, or multinational corporations are particularly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Macro-Environment & Industry Trend Research: Systematically monitor European economic policies, industry regulations, technological developments, and trade environment changes; assess their impact on the Group's core businesses (commercial vehicles, power systems, new energy, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, hydraulics, etc.); and produce regular strategic research reports.
- Market Competition & Benchmarking Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on major competitors, potential new entrants, and alternative technology developments in the European region; analyze competitive dynamics, business models, and key success factors to provide data-driven support for the Group's strategic adjustments.
- Investment & Business Development Support: Conduct thematic research on target markets, prospective companies, and synergies in relation to the Group's investment cooperation, M&A integration, and new business initiatives in Europe; participate in feasibility assessments and due diligence activities as required.
- Strategic Databases Development: Establish and maintain industry databases, policy and regulatory information repositories, and competitive intelligence systems to enhance the Group's efficiency in information acquisition and analysis within the European market.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination & Reporting Support: Maintain communication with Group headquarters, European subsidiaries, and external research institutions; organize and prepare internal research reports, executive briefing materials, and strategic recommendation documents. Qualifications
- Language

Skills:
English proficiency at C1 level or above, with excellent written and oral communication skills in business and research settings; Chinese proficiency at C1 level or above is preferred.
- Education &

Experience:
Master's degree or above, preferably in Economics, Finance, Management, Engineering, or related fields; Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in strategic research, industry analysis, market research, management consulting, or investment analysis; Familiarity with the European commercial vehicle, machinery manufacturing, or new energy sectors is preferred; Prior experience in multinational corporations or international research institutions is preferred. Required Skills
- Strong report writing and presentation skills in both Chinese and English;
- Excellent information gathering, logical reasoning, data analysis, and written expression abilities, with the capability to independently produce high-quality research reports;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of statistical or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred. Preferred Skills
