Our Client
Our client is an international asset management company currently seeking a Valuation Manager to strengthen its finance team in Luxembourg.
Your Role
- Review and challenge investment valuations across different fund strategies.
- Analyse investment committee memos, valuation calibrations and third party valuation reports.
- Oversee valuation analyses at fund level and ensure proper documentation of the review process.
- Ensure reconciliation between investment portfolios and NAV calculations.
- Conduct due diligence on valuation processes and maintain valuation databases.
- Contribute to the enhancement of valuation frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Participate in the onboarding of new funds from a valuation perspective.
- Prepare reporting materials for senior management and governance bodies.
- Support process improvements and coordinate tasks with external or offshore resources.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to the organisation of the team’s work.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in financial services with strong exposure to valuation activities, ideally including experience within a Big Four environment.
- Solid understanding of alternative investments and asset management operations.
- Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies and Luxembourg fund regulatory framework.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with some team coordination responsibilities.
