About the Role
Uplift360 is commercialising ChemR, a solvolysis-based process for recovering high-performance carbon fibre from aerospace CFRP waste. We produce regenerated carbon fibre products for defence, drone and aerospace applications, where customers understand material performance, supply resilience and commercial credibility in every conversation. The Business Development Revenue Manager is a focused revenue execution role. The role exists to turn qualified customer interest into signed commitments, customer off-takes, pre-orders, contracts and funded opportunities. It is not a broad commercial strategy role and it is not the primary technical product-definition role. The post holder will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the Technical Account & Commercialisation Manager to convert validated customer demand into commercial outcomes. This role will be based in Luxembourg, close to Uplift360’s founding leadership, government and defence relationships, and primary commercial operating environment. It will provide the day-to-day sales discipline, pipeline ownership and commercial follow-through required to move ChemR opportunities from interest and ELOI to order, contract or off-take. About Uplift360 Uplift360 is an Advanced Materials Company securing sovereign supply for Europe’s defence, security and vital industries. We secure and produce critical advanced materials, including carbon fibre and aramids, for European defence and industry by sourcing, recovering and regenerating high-value materials into secure industrial supply chains. As geopolitical instability, supply chain fragility and industrial competition intensify, access to advanced materials is becoming a defining strategic advantage. Uplift360 is building the infrastructure and technology required to secure it. As a Business Development Revenue Manager, your key accountabilities will include:
• Pipeline ownership and revenue execution: Own the ChemR commercial pipeline day to day, ensuring opportunities are properly qualified, staged, prioritised and progressed towards signed commitments.
• Customer off-take and pre-order conversion: Drive the conversion of qualified customer interest, ELOIs and technical engagement into customer off-takes, pre-orders, contracts or funded commercial opportunities.
• CRM and pipeline discipline: Maintain the CRM as the system of record for commercial opportunities, including opportunity stage, customer contacts, decision criteria, next steps, risks, blockers, value, probability and expected close date.
• Account planning and follow-up cadence: Build account plans for priority customers and maintain disciplined follow-up with commercial, procurement and programme stakeholders. Ensure no qualified customer opportunity stalls without a clear owner, next step or escalation route.
• Commercial proposition and proposal coordination: Work with the CCO, Technical Account & Commercialisation Manager, Product and Engineering to translate customer requirements into credible commercial propositions, proposals, offers and contract pathways.
• Close planning and negotiation support: Develop close plans for priority opportunities, identifying decision-makers, procurement route, commercial blockers, legal requirements, pricing inputs and actions required to secure commitment.
• Customer relationship management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with procurement, commercial, programme and business stakeholders across defence primes, aerospace OEMs, drone manufacturers, industrial customers and relevant public-sector partners.
• Revenue forecasting and reporting: Provide accurate weekly pipeline, revenue and conversion reporting to the CCO, including movement by stage, probability, blockers, next actions and forecast timing.
• Commercial governance: Support clear commercial decision-making by escalating pricing, legal, delivery, technical or strategic issues to the CCO at the right time.
• Cross-functional coordination: Work hand-in-glove with the Technical Account & Commercialisation Manager so that technical discovery, product requirement definition and customer confidence translate into commercial momentum.
• Market and customer intelligence: Capture customer signals, procurement trends, competitor activity and market feedback that can inform product positioning, pricing, account prioritisation and the commercial roadmap.
• Events and lead conversion: Support priority trade shows, customer meetings and defence/aerospace events by ensuring leads are captured, qualified, assigned and followed up quickly. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Personal Qualities:
• Demonstrable sales and revenue execution experience — has owned a business development, revenue, sales or account pipeline and can show evidence of progressing opportunities towards signed commercial outcomes.
• Strong account management discipline — can manage multiple customer opportunities at once, maintain momentum between meetings, follow up consistently and keep internal stakeholders aligned.
• CRM and forecasting capability — has used a CRM or equivalent system to manage opportunity stages, close dates, next steps, values, probabilities and reporting.
• Experience converting complex B2B opportunities — understands how to move customers from interest to qualification, proposal, negotiation and commitment in a complex technical or industrial environment.
• Customer-facing commercial confidence — credible with procurement, commercial, programme and senior customer stakeholders. Able to hold a commercial conversation without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room.
• Ability to work with technical teams — can take technical product requirements, constraints and value propositions and turn them into customer-facing commercial propositions.
• Structured close planning — understands stakeholder mapping, decision criteria, qualification, procurement route, legal/commercial blockers and the actions required to progress towards signature.
• Written and verbal communication — able to write clear follow-up notes, account plans, proposals, pipeline updates and executive summaries for the CCO and leadership team.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage business — able to operate with ambiguity, build process where it does not yet exist, and bring urgency without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Luxembourg-based or able to work from Luxembourg — able to operate from Uplift360’s Luxembourg base and work closely with the founding team and European defence, government and industrial stakeholders. Desirable Qualifications and Experience
• Experience selling into defence, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, industrial materials, engineering, deep tech or government-adjacent markets.
• Existing network across European defence, aerospace, industrial or public-sector procurement environments.
• Experience converting ELOIs, letters of intent, pilot agreements, framework agreements, pre-orders, off-take agreements or early commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with advanced materials, composites, carbon fibre, supply-chain resilience or sovereign industrial capability.
• Experience working in a venture-backed, scale-up or deep-tech environment.
• Understanding of Luxembourg, EU or NATO-adjacent defence and industrial ecosystems.
• Experience coordinating proposals, commercial terms, legal review and contracting processes. Why Join Uplift360?
