direct client exposure, entrepreneurial spirit and genuine ownership. We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join a banking profitability engagement starting shortly.
What You'll Do
You will help a bank understand what drives its revenues, costs and performance, and turn that understanding into a model people trust. ✔ Analyse banking activities, products and processes to identify the key revenue, cost and performance drivers.✔ Build or improve profitability models: P&L by product or business line, direct and indirect costs, allocation keys, operational drivers.✔ Collect, reconcile and secure data with Management Control, Operations and IT.✔ Facilitate workshops to clarify needs, formalise business rules and document assumptions.✔ Turn needs into usable deliverables: analyses, methodology notes, functional specifications, user stories and test cases.✔ Present results and recommendations to business heads and steering committees, clearly and simply. Who You AreYou move easily between Finance, the business and IT. You can structure a complex topic and get very different people moving in the same direction. ✔ Around 5 years or more in management control, financial steering, performance analysis or consulting for banks.✔ A solid grasp of how a bank works economically: products, activities, costs, revenues and cost accounting.✔ Real comfort with data. Advanced Excel is a must. SQL, Power BI or similar tools are a plus.✔ Fluent French and professional English.✔ Autonomy, rigour and a strong sense of clear reporting. Experience in transformation projects or in writing functional requirements will be highly valued.
