ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? We want you to be a part of our team, from Luxembourg, as a Full-Stack Java/Angular Developer. WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
• Gather and analyse business requirements in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Analyse existing applications, business processes and end-user requirements.
• Design, develop and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain Angular frontend applications using TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Implement database persistence solutions using JPA, Hibernate and relational databases.
• Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
• Perform system, integration and performance testing to ensure application quality.
• Support existing microservices applications across different business divisions.
• Collaborate with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain business sign-off.
• Prepare technical documentation, application design specifications and operational guides.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional development teams.
• Support release preparation, deployment activities and change management processes.
• Manage source code, configurations and version control using Git.
• Identify technical risks, investigate issues and propose effective solutions.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Provide technical guidance and training to business users and stakeholders when required. WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on professional Java development experience
• Proven experience developing and releasing Java applications into production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA and Hibernate.
• Proven experience developing Angular frontend applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and integrating them with backend APIs.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests for Java applications, using frameworks such as JUnit or Cucumber.
• Strong experience with Git-based collaborative development, including branching, pull/merge requests and code reviews.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Practical experience using XML, YAML and JSON for application development and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with AI-agent-driven software development using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or Codex, including agent-led code implementation or modification, review and testing. Basic code completion alone is insufficient.
• Excellent command of English (C1/C2), both written and spoken. Desirable Requirements
• Experience with Apache Camel.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure Pipelines.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other public cloud architectures.
• Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Previous experience in financial services or financial applications.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based service management.
