As a full license bank, CMB Luxembourg intends to differentiate itself as a flagship in the sector of corporate banking, trade finance and wealth management. It will provide a range of diversified financial products and services to Corporation customers, Personal customers, Financial Institutions in EU and China.
The Risk Management Function is responsible for ensuring that the Bank adequately controls and manages credit, market, operational, liquidity and other relevant risks. It ensures the Bank is fully compliant with all banking laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Responsible:
• Review financial statements and other data to assess the company’s overall financial condition.
• Conduct independent credit approval on the Credit Proposals from Corporate Banking department.
• Evaluate potential risks and recommend solutions to increase profits while maintaining safety standards.
• Credit Review and Due Diligence on existing loans.
• Responsible for identifying and managing problem loans.
• Participation to the Credit Committee.
• Analyze industry trends to identify new opportunities for lending, investment, or insurance products.
• Identify new markets for lending or investment opportunities, including identify new clients and industries where the company has not yet established a presence.
• Portfolio Monitoring and Analysis.
• Conduct annual reviews on all relevant Credit Risk Policies & Guidelines of the Bank. Qualification:
• Master Degree in finance, business, economics, mathematics, engineering, banking, accounting or management.
• Have good experience in risk management and at least 3-5 years of experience in corporate credit analysis role.
• Sound knowledge of banking products for Corporate or Institutional counterparties.
• Excellent command of Chinese and English is essential.
• Professional certificates like CFA/FRM/ACCA is a strong plus.
• Able to synthesize information with very good writing skills.
• Organized, ability to manage priorities, team player.
