Integration Engineer

Telekom HBS, part of the Telekom Group, is an ICT Systems Integrator offering a comprehensive suite of ICT Solutions and Services. Telekom HBS, specializes in delivering ICT Services in areas such as Cloud, Data Centre operations, Networking, Cybersecurity, BI and Data Warehouse, Big Data, Service Desk, Service Management, Project and Programme Management, and Professional Services. We are seeking an Automation Tester to join our team and be responsible for the following tasks:
• Design, develop, implement and maintain enterprise integration solutions
• Design APIs and integration services using orchestration, transformation, routing and protocol mediation capabilities
• Design end-to-end integration solutions in line with enterprise architecture standards and technical requirements
• Define and apply integration patterns, development standards, best practices and reusable services
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, performance, scalability, availability and reliability requirements
• Design, develop and maintain REST APIs and SOAP Web Services
• Manage API lifecycle activities, including design, publishing, versioning, monitoring and retirement
• Configure, maintain and support integration platforms and related components
• Develop integration components and microservices using technologies such as Spring Boot and Apache Camel
• Implement and maintain automated build, deployment and CI/CD processes
• Use Infrastructure as Code to automate and standardise infrastructure and application deployments
• Contribute to the modernisation and continuous improvement of the integration architecture and platform
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including solution and integration architecture documentation
• Collaborate with solution architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, security teams and other stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to integration-related technical decisions and initiatives
• Monitor integration platform health, service availability and performance
• Troubleshoot message delivery, connectivity, performance and resiliency issues
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and performance bottlenecks
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventive actions
• Support the deployment and operation of integration services across different environments
• Ensure integration solutions remain reliable, maintainable and operationally supportable
• Ensure compliance with applicable security, audit and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to platform maintenance, upgrades, technical improvements andautomation initiatives Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree at a relevant field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong software development experience using Java and Spring Boot
• Strong experience with Apache Camel or similar enterprise integration frameworks
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API design principles
• Experience with SOAP Web Services and related technologies
• Good knowledge of databases and data access technologies
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed architectures
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and integration architecture principles
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting integration solutions in production environments Experience with the below would be considered an advantage:
