We are looking for an experienced Senior QA / Senior Test Engineer to join our team remotely and contribute to a high-impact project within the European Investment Bank (EIB) environment. WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
• Design and execute functional, integration, usability, performance, and regression tests based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform primarily manual testing (approximately 80%), with a limited automation component (20% or less).
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, track issues, and verify fixes.
• Maintain existing manual and automated test suites.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Review test scenarios, test scripts, and test data produced by other team members.
• Document test execution results and contribute to QA reports and metrics.
• Participate in user-story clarification and requirements validation.
• Support continuous improvement of software quality assurance processes. Requirements WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
• Test/QA certification, such as ISTQB.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual software testing within cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in the banking or lending domain.
• Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira and Xray.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in test automation using Selenium with Java.
• Experience documenting, troubleshooting, and tracking software defects. Will you join us in humanizing technology?
