Responsibilities:
• Design, build, test and ship server-side applications, web portals, reusable components and shared libraries with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Work closely with technical leads, product and business analysts, fellow developers and QA to clarify needs and keep specifications consistent across the board.
• Release and operate services both in our own data centers and on container-based cloud infrastructure, keeping an eye on their health in production. Profile:
• Java 17+, ideally Java 21 or later
• Spring Boot 3+ and Spring 6+
• JPA with Hibernate
• REST and SOAP APIs, plus event-driven messaging with Kafka
• Unit and integration testing with JUnit or TestNG and a mocking library such as Mockito
• Build and delivery tooling: Maven, Git, automated CI/CD (Azure DevOps a plus), Docker, and public cloud (Azure preferred)
• Identity and access management based on OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
