Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain, test and deploy web portals, applications, components and libraries using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Develop scalable and reliable backend services and APIs using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with team leads, technical leads, business analysts, developers and QA engineers to understand business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to the clarification, consistency and alignment of functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and integrate web services using REST and SOAP.
• Implement asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures using technologies such as Apache Kafka.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, reliability and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
• Deploy, configure and monitor applications in on-premises and cloud-based containerized environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps practices. Technical Requirements Backend Development
• Strong experience in Java development (Java 17 or higher; Java 21+ preferred).
• Solid knowledge of Spring Framework 6.x or higher and Spring Boot 3.x or higher.
• Experience with JPA and Hibernate.
• Good understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with asynchronous communication and event streaming technologies, particularly Apache Kafka. Testing
• Experience with JUnit or TestNG.
• Familiarity with Mockito or equivalent mocking frameworks.
• Strong focus on software quality, testing and maintainable code. DevOps & Cloud
• Experience with Maven and Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience deploying and monitoring applications in on-premises and cloud environments. Security
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth 2.0. Language : French and English Nice to Have
• Full-stack development experience.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
• Experience working in cloud-native and distributed application environments.
