Your role Are you passionate about optimizing IT asset flows and ensuring smooth delivery of technology to end-users? We are seeking an enthusiastic End-User Computing Specialist with a keen focus on IT logistics to join our IT team. In this hands-on role, you will manage the complete journey of IT hardware – from incoming delivery through to deployment, recovery, and retirement – with an eye for detail, organization, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and accurately register incoming IT hardware and accessories: laptops, monitors, peripherals
• Maintain well-organized and secure stockrooms, ensuring clear labelling, categorization, and safety standards
• Prepare devices for deployment, including labelling, assembling accessory kits, and packaging equipment, working closely with the End-User Computing and Service Desk teams
• Distribute hardware to ServiceDesk for handover to users, supporting the handover process with thorough documentation and ownership tracking
• Retrieve and process equipment from leavers or for replacements, returning items for stock, refurbishment, or compliant disposal
• Collaborate with procurement and vendors for repairs, RMA processes, warranty claims, or delivery discrepancies
• Support regular inventory reconciliation and assist in physical stock audits to ensure records match inventories
• Proactively monitor equipment levels and forecast potential shortages or overstock situations
• Help to organize and execute special on-site installation projects
• Help to plan and execute device refresh cycles
• Securely decommission obsolete hardware

Your profile
• High school education or up to 3 years of experience in IT support, end-user computing, help desk, or a similar role
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 environment, and end-user devices
• Knowledge of IT service management principles and ticketing tools is considered an asset.
• Good understanding of IT security principles and good practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical expertise
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
• Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or data analysis is an advantage
• Excellent command (C1) in French & English ; additional languages are considered an asset
