Palana is a regulatory and compliance consulting firm based in Luxembourg, specialising in the investment fund industry and broader financial services sector. We advise leading asset managers, fund administrators and financial institutions on regulatory compliance, reporting and related matters.
As an ESG Regulatory Reporting Trainee, you will support our team in delivering ESG and sustainability-related regulatory reporting solutions to clients in the financial sector. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on exposure to ESG regulations, regulatory reporting and financial data while contributing to live client projects.
Your responsibilities
• Support the preparation and maintenance of ESG regulatory disclosures and reporting deliverables, including SFDR, TCFD, SDR and EET.
• Assist in analysing regulatory developments and assessing their impact on reporting requirements.
• Review and validate ESG-related data to support accurate, consistent and timely reporting.
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of regulatory and fund documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on ESG reporting projects and related deliverables.
• Support the continuous improvement of reporting processes, methodologies and tools. What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress in Law, Economics, Business, Finance, Sustainability or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainability, ESG matters, financial regulation and the investment fund industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive, organised and collaborative mindset with a genuine willingness to learn.
• Valid right to work in Luxembourg. You will develop practical knowledge of sustainability regulations and financial markets while learning how regulatory requirements are translated into concrete client deliverables.
