The role offers close interaction with the CIO and Portfolio Managers, as well as with brokers, custodians, administrators and other external service providers, and provides the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of AISM's investment-management processes, internal tools and operating model as the business grows.

• Prepare and maintain performance reporting for UCITS funds and discretionary investment mandates.
• Support trading activities across different asset classes, including money market instruments, equities, bonds, derivatives and third-party funds, covering pre-trade activities, order execution and post-trade follow-up across different portfolios, platforms and counterparties.
• Support the operational implementation and administration of investment activities, including security set-up, portfolio data maintenance, trade processing, reconciliations, account openings, corporate actions and follow-up of settlement and other operational matters.
• Perform investment analysis across asset allocation, equities, bonds and fund selection.
• Support portfolio and risk monitoring activities, including controls, identification and follow-up of investment breaches and other portfolio exceptions.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of transaction, position and cash data in internal systems and coordinate with brokers, custodians, administrators and other service providers to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyse the profitability of investment mandates and related business activities.
• Maintain and update internal SQL databases and support the quality and consistency of investment and operational data.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of internal tools, reporting and operational processes.
• Support ad-hoc investment, operational and business projects as required. Candidate Profile Experience
• Ideally 2–3 years of relevant experience within a Luxembourg Management Company, asset manager, fund administrator, middle-office function or similar financial-services environment.
• Good understanding of financial products and instruments and of the main processes supporting portfolio management and investment operations.
• Knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory framework, in particular the UCITS framework.
• Practical experience in fund accounting, middle-office activities, trading workflows, investment operations and/or portfolio support would be an advantage.
• Experience with discretionary portfolio management or segregated mandates would be an advantage. Technical & Organisational Skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and confidence working with financial and operational data.
• Strong analytical, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Good understanding of trade lifecycle processes, portfolio management systems, reconciliations and settlement processes.
• Knowledge of programming and data-management tools such as VBA, Python and SQL would be an advantage.
• High attention to detail and a rigorous, methodical approach to controls, follow-up and documentation.
• Fluent English and French; Italian would be an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related discipline; CFA qualification or progress towards the CFA would be an advantage. Personal Characteristics
• Autonomous, versatile and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Motivated, curious and willing to learn and develop across different areas of the business.
• Comfortable working independently in a lean organisation while collaborating closely with Portfolio Managers, Conducting Officers and external service providers.
• Proactive in identifying issues, following them through to resolution and escalating matters appropriately when required.
• Flexible and willing to work across different areas of the business rather than within a narrowly defined role.
• Good adaptability in an international and fast-moving environment.
