The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender-neutral compensation framework. Compliance aims at stimulating, monitoring and controlling the observation of laws, regulations, internal rules
- including the CSC Principles of Business Conduct
- and ethical standards that are relevant to the integrity and, hence, to the reputation of CSC. Some of the things you’ll be doing
• Review and assess onboarding documentation for high-risk prospective clients, identifying AML/CFT risks and preparing recommendations for the Local Acceptance Committee (LAC).
• Draft compliance opinions, risk assessments, and meeting minutes related to high-risk client acceptance decisions.
• Review periodic client file reviews conducted by the First Line of Defence (FLOD) for high-risk relationships.
• Assess and challenge escalated high-risk transactions and investor cases, ensuring appropriate risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Perform key AML controls, including PEP and sanctions screening, KYC quality reviews, and monitoring of required compliance processes.
• Analyse escalations from the business and prepare suspicious activity reports (SAR/STR) for submission to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) when required.
• Prepare reports on compliance reviews, key findings, risk trends, and remediation actions for local management, the Head of Compliance, and the Responsable du Contrôle (RC).
• Monitor regulatory developments, industry trends, and evolving AML/CFT requirements, ensuring relevant updates are communicated across the organisation.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, training, and technical support to Compliance Officers and Junior Compliance Officers.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of compliance training programmes and onboarding sessions for new employees.
• Foster a strong compliance culture by sharing best practices, regulatory updates, and practical insights with internal stakeholders.
• Actively participate in team meetings, supporting knowledge sharing, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Support the Senior Compliance Manager in managing team priorities, complex cases, and strategic compliance projects.
• Assist during internal and external audits by responding to requests, providing documentation, and coordinating compliance-related follow-up actions. What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
• Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in AML/Compliance within financial services, funds, or corporate services.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations; exposure to other European jurisdictions and the US is an asset.
• Good understanding of fiduciary, fund, and domiciliation services.
• Fluent English; French and/or German are a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Confident and independent mindset with the ability to challenge stakeholders when necessary.
