Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the General ledger in compliance with monthly closing deadlines
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with Accounting and Tax standards (e.g. IFRS,LUX GAAP, Tax rules) and company policies
- Support the preparation of separate and consolidated financial statements and management reports of the Group, liaise with external auditors and consultants as needed
- Assist to perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist to perform variance analysis of key P&L and balance sheet items
- Contribute proactively to process improvements and finance function optimization Collaborating with other departments on financial matters
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required by management
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Essential requirements for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting
- Strong experience in general ledger accounting, consolidation and financial reporting
- Experience in multinational or corporate environment preferred
- SAP knowledge is considered as an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Reliable team player, detail-oriented, with a structured approach
Working Conditions
- Full time, permanent position based in our HQ Luxembourg.
- Professional growth and development within a leading cargo airline
- A certificate of good conduct (Casier Judiciaire, Polizeilisches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection
- This is a temporary position of 12 months
