Branch Operations Analyst

The Branch Operations Analyst / Loan Operations (BOA/LO) is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of syndicated and large-scale bilateral loans, as well as the handling of related investigations. This includes the processing of time-critical, complex transactions on behalf of the Bank’s internal and external clients, Loan related investigations involving enquiries from clients and internal stakeholders before and after execution. It often involves time critical, potentially complex or in some cases regulated tasks including interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

The BOA/LO undertakes the complete and accurate processing of Loan operations, ensuring that all related information and relevant parties are processed according to established service level Agreement (SLAs) and industry guidelines. In addition, the Operator should ensure that procedures are properly executed to reduce processing risk and identify potential areas for process improvement whether internally within the Bank or for our clients.

The BOA/LO may also be in direct contact with other teams in relation to Loan processing offered by the bank. They may need to deal with the escalation and remediation of client complaints as well as managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Undertake operational and transaction based tasks for different products for our corporate clients. This include, but not limited to the following products: Syndicated and large-scale bilateral loans, Cash Transactions, credit mobilization to central banks, review and escalation on breaks, administration of tax forms.
- Design, implement and perform new controls, global initiatives, platform changes, reports, KPI’s and KRI’s.
- Take ownership for back office tasks/processes to ensure accurate, complete, and timely processing within teams, through third-party-providers and across the bank (cross-divisional). In this role the BOA/LO is in close contact to international outsourcing partners of the bank.
- Be actively involved in definition and implementation of change processes and in project work.

**Profile**:

- Ideally you have a Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics or Finance, or you have completed a certified commercial training (ie.: IHK Bankkaufmann/-frau, Industriekauffrau/-mann, Steuerfachgehilfe/-in)
- First experience (about 1 year) within a back / middle office of a bank of a company or control team or project team.
- You are interested in design and implementation of process flows and would like to accompany the design and the implementation of change processes.
- Your are interested to gain experience in project work.
- Interpersonal skills, team orientation and client driven
- Proactive problem solving, critical thinking, experienced in escalation handling, being tolerant towards change and uncertainty
- fluent in German and English
