Our client, a life insurance company operating on a European scale, is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team. Based in Luxembourg, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in regulatory monitoring and implementing policies to combat fraud, prevent conflicts of interest and respect customer interests. **Description**
- Participation in compliance procedures to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Issuance of substantiated compliance notices for new relationships, transactions, etc. ;
- Internal implementation of Group policies and procedures, taking into account Luxembourg regulations;
- Definition, updating and dissemination of internal policies, procedures and media to raise awareness and involve all players in LCB-FT, conflicts of interest, anti-corruption, anti-fraud, etc. measures;
- Detection and monitoring of atypical transactions and suspicious transaction reports;
- Definition and implementation of internal and external anti-fraud measures, in coordination with the periodic control functions for investigations;
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT reporting obligations for LUX and FR entities;
- Management of relations and cooperation with AML/CFT supervisory authorities (CAA and ACPR);
- Participation in regulatory monitoring in collaboration with the Legal Department;
- Operational watch, collecting, analyzing and monitoring changes to the product range and internal procedures, ensuring timely implementation of changes linked to regulatory developments;
- Formulation of an opinion on the conformity of new products and processes, with reservations where necessary;
- Proofreading and validation of contractual and commercial documents, sales aids and training materials to ensure systematic compliance with regulations, in particular the fight against money laundering;
- Implementation of ethical rules for employees, prevention and management of conflicts of interest and protection of customer interests;
- Ensuring statistical and qualitative reporting, and responding to requests for ad hoc contributions from the Group and supervisory authorities.
**Profile**
- 4-year degree or equivalent in law or economics;
- Significant experience in the financial sector, preferably in life insurance;
- Good command of office automation tools (Office);
- Ability to analyze and summarize;
- Good command of French; any other language would be an asset;
- Autonomy, discretion, rigor;
- Stress management.
