Product Manager - Lending & Depositary Bank
ING Luxembourg is looking for a Product Manager - Lending & Depositary Bank
who will be working in the tribe Wholesale Banking Products & Channels. The aim of this tribe is to deliver high quality products and services to the Wholesale Banking department for an improved uniform client experience. The team is SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Wholesale Banking and Financial Market & Global Treasury functional lines and leverage as much as possible on all ING-wide initiatives.
Role overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of lending and depositary bank solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance products that address the needs of our depositary bank and lending operations.
Job description
You work in a Squad within ING's Agile organization, and you work with other experts to achieve the Squad's mission.
Your key responsibilities:
- Define the product roadmap for lending and depositary bank solutions.
- Truly understand your products, services, and processes end-to-end and you keep this knowledge up to date.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including business leaders, tech teams, lending functional line and end-users, to gather and prioritize requirements.
- Align product development initiatives with business goals, with external regulations, risk management frameworks and compliance policies,
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the strategic roadmap.
- Using your expertise and experience to contribute to all sprint events (planning, refinements, retrospectives, demos)
Your profile
Competencies / Behavior:
- Strong understanding of the lending products for Wholesale banking clients and the depositary Bank activity
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner or similar role, ideally in Lending and/or depositary bank.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with proficiency in tools like, Azure, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Languages:
- Fluency in English and in French (verbal and written)
