**About the role**

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Sales Executive to join the Sales team in our Luxembourg office. This position is critical in growing and diversifying our business in Europe. In this role you will focus on selling Trustly's services in different verticals across Europe. To be successful in this role you will need to collaborate with product leaders to build a thorough understanding of Trustly’s product suite as well as invest time to understand the business. You will also have to build relationships with merchant’s product owners.
- You likely have a background in the Financial Services and payments industry.

**What you'll do**:

- Build a solid pipeline of opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract execution
- Act as point of contact for merchants and partners with regards to product requests, contracts and operative issues on a daily basis.
- Acquire merchants and ensure efficient sales processes, including comprehensive KYC, regulatory, risk management and successful integration
- Create and maintain sales activity planning and reports
- Manage merchant integration with assistance from Trustly's technical integration specialists and be the primary merchant integration contact for the first 3 months
- When needed, facilitate other revenue generating action/ opportunities owned by other teams, e.g. the marketing department
- Assist in product development by having a strong dialogue with merchants and liaising with Trustly’s product development team
- Participate in and contribute to all relevant industry activities, including conferences, fairs and meet-ups
- Stay informed on relevant industry trends to recognize merchants’ pain points

**Who you are**:

- To be successful in this role, you must be a true self-starter who is prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved
- You have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the payments/banking industry
- You’re motivated by working in a fast-paced and energetic environment
- You’re able to travel regularly between Trustly’s offices, and are as equally comfortable working individually as in a small group.
- You have a proven track record in achieving or exceeding set sales targets
- You take great pride in your work and strive for excellence with drive and endurance
- You have ownership mentality and accountability
- You are fluent in English and French, both verbal and written and it’s a bonus if you speak other languages.

We are looking for someone who is not afraid of voicing and acting on new ideas and values good communication with internal and/or external stakeholders. If you are passionate about working with different areas across the organization, then this would be an interesting role for you.
