**Job Description**:
The day-to-day work is done by an offshore team, so this would be an oversight function, and the key strength would be your ability to engage with clients.
You would work closely with the Conducting Officer, who has been in the business for many years and is an absolute fountain of knowledge. It is quite complex and they have a base of stable, happy clients and the work is stimulating and interesting. The culture is good - they all play to each other’s strengths and the ethos is that no-one should ever be left behind.
Working alongside a team of accountants, corporate officers and company secretaries, you will support the SF function in the following ways:
- Preparation of financial statements on behalf of clients and presentation thereof at board meetings
- Preparation of management accounts and/or waterfall calculations for client in accordance with reporting deadlines;
- Oversight of the relationship with the offshore teams completing the day-to-day accounting
- FVC reporting to the Luxembourg Central Bank
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and that deadlines are met
What our client looks for:
- 6+ years accounting experience managing a portfolio of multiple clients, either hold co’s or SPV’s.
- Recognised and relevant qualification (or part) required
- Good knowledge of AML/KYC and the regulatory requirements for Lux companies
- Strong knowledge of LUXGAAP is essential
- Fluent in English. Fluency in German or French preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, client-centric approach
- Able to prioritise effectively and work together as well as independently
