Business Controller

(M/F) Full time - Permanent

Luxembourg

Missions
- Be the Finance partner with Business
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to help performance
- Drive the month end close including the preparation of account reconciliations, the analysis of P&L fluctuations and the reporting of monthly financial statements
- Participate to the overall annual budgeting process (Budget, Rolling Forecast)
- Build annual budgets and prepare their quarterly forecast, analyze gaps and define action plans
- Produce monthly financial statements and related financial analysis. Prepare reports and forecasts based on the analysis and suggest corrective action
- Be responsible for the reliability of the end results and of the management rules from its scope and pilot the pricing activity
- Participate on cross functional projects and follow up optimization improvement plans
- Provide the financial leadership and decision support analysis necessary to maintain and improve profit margins
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies in consultation with the corporate finance team
- Support various ad-hoc projects
- Cooperate with IT team and contribute to the harmonization SAP, Qlikview and BO processes for the business controlling area
- Assist the financial team with internal and external audits
- Other duties as assigned

Profile
- Master’s Degree in Finance or related quantitative field. More than 5 years’ experience in Business Controlling (any experience in Audit firms or Consultancy is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff and to proactively embrace and drive positive, transformational change
- Strong interest for meaningful analysis, planning and organisation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial data
- Meticulous and self-motivated individual with good interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical problem solving and problem-solving skills
- Expert knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP is required
- Demonstrated ability to work with QlikView and BO would be an asset
- Strong interest for meaningful analysis, planning and organisation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open office environment
- Able to work independently and thrive in a highly ambiguous environment is a must for this role
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
