**Team / division overview**

The DWS CAO Division comprises the AFC & Compliance, Client & Investment Monitoring, Corporate Governance, Human Resources (HR) and Legal departments.

As part of Client & Investment Monitoring, the Governance & Controls team supports all areas of the CAO Division worldwide. Among other things, the team is responsible for topics relating to financial planning, resource planning & management, business continuity management (BCM), strategic CAO projects, business management and the associated operational processes.

With this permanent position we are looking for support for the Head of the Governance & Controls team.

FRT: Client & Investment Monitoring Manager

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Establishment and further development of a governance and policy framework for the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) and continuous adaptation of the platform to regulatory requirements; proactive problem analysis and development of proposed solutions to eliminate data, reporting and process gaps
- Support of the Global COO in all strategic matters, coordination with Finance, Tax, Compliance, HR, Legal and other central functions as well as experts from all parts of the DWS/DB Group
- Working closely with all stakeholders within DWS and beyond to ensure the integration and alignment of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) platform across the business
- As part of Resource Planning & Management, all areas of Vendor Risk Management (VRM), the administration of service contracts and procurement for the CAO Division are supported
- Contact person for the local management and business areas in Luxembourg on governance aspects of the CAO Division

**Personal and professional requirements**
- University degree/University of Applied Sciences degree; Alternatively, completed commercial apprenticeship with appropriate further training (banking administration, MBA, CFA, etc.)
- First professional experience within the asset management industry and a good understanding of the asset management value chain as well as the different functions and responsibilities
- Good knowledge of investment products of the DWS business areas
- First experience in project management and change management; experience and knowledge of agile working methods would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills in German and English as well as the ability to work together across departments
- Confident handling and coordination of requirements in a global team
- Strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate challenging issues to different stakeholders in order to develop suitable solutions
- Empathy in dealing with others as well as the preservation and balancing of different interests in the context of service provision
- Self-driven for personal development and independent way of working
