Overview:
Hines Luxembourg Investment Management Sarl (HLIM) is looking to hire a Finance Director Corporate.

HLIM is a CSSF regulated Company, having the Alternative Investment Fund Manager’s licence (AIFM). HLIM is managing around 9 billion of AUM and 30 AIFs.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Finance Director with Hines, you will be based in Luxembourg, reporting directly to Stephanie Duval, Managing Director, Investment Accounting-Europe and Head of the Office. Resposibilities include but are not limited to:
Payroll:

- Instruction to payroll firm,r econciliation and payment
- Remuneration disclosure calculation as per ESMA guideline

Luxembourg & UK Corporate accounting:

- Accounting done externally
- VAT return done externally
- Quarterly costing model calculations (internal recharge of cost)
- Monitoring of cash
- Invoices to be paid
- Financial statements (review and is point of contact auditors)
- Monitor aging statement and ensure income is collected on time.

Regulatory work:

- In charge of doing or reviewing regulated reporting (e.g CSSF & FCA /BCL/CBI)
- Calculate quarterly, annual capital requirement (own fund capital)
- Review and present quarterly management reporting for the Board of managers
- Review process

Treasury:
Oversee work done by the treasurer.

Review authorized signatories

Oversight of work performed by external providers.

Transfer Agent:

- All transactions under TA's department done by one person of the team (cap calls, redemptions, distributions, rebates, etc).
- Statement of units - Note that this role will be externalized by year end. May still have some oversight however.

Board member on several entities

Management of a team of 4 people & external providers

Qualifications:

- University degree with an emphasis in accounting, business or economics
- CPA or ACCA qualifications (or equivalent)
- Eager to work for a rapidly growing real estate firm
- Understanding of the conceptual framework of real estate investment and investment management more broadly would be a plus.
- Experience and understanding of AIFM reporting and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of the MS Office suite, most particularly Excel, but also PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent communication skills with confident fluency in written and spoken English. Other languages are not required, but other European languages would be beneficial
- Strong management skills
- Interest for digitalisation / IT technology
- Experience working for a ManCo / AIFM corporate company
