**Overview of role**: The Outsourcing Officer is responsible for the oversight of various key deliverables including but not limited to Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Anti Money Laundering, Outsource Service Providers (OSPs). They will work closely with Operations, Management, legal and Compliance to manage all aspects of the Outsource Program. The individual will work collaboratively across several SEI teams and legal entities globally to ensure Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) circulars and requirements are adhered to and will escalate if issues or concerns arise. The individual is responsible for maintaining proactive and satisfactory relationships with all OSPs.
Oversight/Monitoring of Outsourcing
- Establish objectives and goals to meet agreed strategy
- Responsible for the effective oversight and governance around outsourcing including meeting all regulatory requirements
- Ensure all outsourcing documentation including Terms of Reference, policies, training, ongoing monitoring, KPIs, outsourcing register are maintained accurately, timely and to the highest standards - Plan and organize due diligence meetings based on the company’s risk assessments - Ensure all due diligence materials are well documented and finalized in accordance with company policy and regulations - Maintain OSP risk assessments - Assist in RFPs and Due Diligences on the company

Quality Assurance
- Testing: Ongoing testing of the functions completed by operational teams including Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Transfer Agency, AML
- Checklist and Procedures: Work with Operations to ensure checklist and procedures are reviewed and updated on an annual basis
- Compliance and Internal Audit Testing: Ensure any findings and recommendations where applicable are actioned by the relevant teams
- Incident Management: Review of incident reporting including root cause analysis, remediation and preventative measures. o Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model o Co-ordinate with technical solutions, risk and operations to proactively and effectively move resolutions forward
- Management Reporting: Production of monthly incident and trend analysis reporting management.

**Process Improvement and Efficiency**:

- Ensure innovation to improve efficiencies, enhance client service and maintain satisfactory controls within the various oversight teams

Required Experiences and Skills
- Significant fund operations background with in-depth knowledge of Financial Service Industry
- 10+ years’ financial / operational experience
- Proven track record in strategic thinking and leadership
- Ability to implement and evaluate strategies for improving operational excellence
- Demonstrable relationship building skills both internally and externally and across all levels
- Team player
- Solutions focused with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and influencing skills - Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of investment and regulatory issues facing the Luxembourg Fund Industry
