**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, document, deploy, and maintain secure solutions for document collaboration using SharePoint platforms.
- Manage SharePoint systems and underlying components, including:

- MS SQL Server databases, monitoring systems, log management, and ancillary components (e.g., search services, authentication, caching services).
- Develop and implement technical measures to safeguard sensitive information as per the Commission’s Security Directorate guidelines for Sensitive Non-Classified (SNC) information handling.
- Conduct proof-of-concept and prototyping for infrastructure solutions.
- Assist Project and Service Managers as well as solution architects in identifying technical solutions for functional or regulatory issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in project coordination and meetings.
- Contribute to security investigations when required.
- Provide expert technical support on SharePoint and Microsoft 365 systems, including:

- Troubleshooting, performance optimization, and monitoring feedback.

**Qualifications** Technical and Professional Qualifications**
- At least 15 years of experience in designing, planning, configuring, administrating, and maintaining large SharePoint environments.
- Proven Microsoft technical certifications (e.g., SharePoint Administration, Configuration certifications similar to 2010 or later, or Information Security certifications).
- Demonstrated experience working within international, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environments.
- Strong expertise in:

- Secure document collaboration on Microsoft SharePoint.
- Managing infrastructure components (e.g., databases, monitoring systems, authentication services).
- Mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with sensitive information security standards.

**Language Requirements**
- Excellent proficiency in English and French (spoken and written), corresponding to at least B2 or higher of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

**Soft Skills and Communication**
- Strong team spirit, adaptability, and service-oriented approach.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Motivation and ability to contribute to high-level discussions on technical matters and overall project goals.

**Skills Assessment**

Applicants may be required to address a technical questionnaire and relevant use cases during the selection process. Areas of evaluation include:

- Information Security Measures: Knowledge of techniques to protect SharePoint environments from data leaks.
- Database Security Management: Familiarity with secure handling of Microsoft SQL Server databases, particularly with Transparent Data Encryption.
- Monitoring Challenges: Ability to identify and address operational and security challenges in document collaboration systems (e.g., SharePoint).
