Responsible for leading the Compliance, AML, and Delegation Oversight functions of a newly established AIFM, developing the right policies and procedures in line with regulatory developments, and serve as point of contact for the CSSF. This is a very exciting opportunity to lead and shape a new service offering that is strategically important to Aztec and our clients. The individual will be excited about starting with a blank page to build a market leading AIFM business that is high quality, scalable and dynamic. You will be a key member of the AIFM's Senior Management and wider Luxembourg leadership team who collaborate together to achieve strategic and financial success, driving the strategy and managing the associated challenges of a dynamic and fast-growing business. **Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**: - Design and develop mandatory policies, procedures and processes to deliver appropriate and effective control framework of the AIFM and the AIFs - Oversee the compliance monitoring plan and ensure that the regulatory requirements to the CSSF are met - Act as RC ("responsable du controle du respect des obligations") for the AIFM and AIFs where relevant - Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory filing deadlines - Conduct CSSF filings and general liaising with the CSSF on compliance and AML related matters - Undertake a regular compliance monitoring (risk-based approach) and compliance risk assessment - Ensure that regulatory compliance risk is taken into account in the day-to-day operations of the AIFM **Skills, knowledge, expertise**: - Degree in Business, Legal, Finance or CompliancE - Previous experience as Compliance Conducting Officer (preferably from AIFM, management companies or Big Four with experience in Private Markets - 8+ years' experience predominantly in AIFM environments, financial regulation and compliance in Luxembourg - Ability to understand and interpret regulations pertaining to Compliance and AML - Excellent knowledge of the Luxembourg AIFM Legal & Regulatory Framework - Outstanding analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills - Excellent organisation and communication skills - Full fluency in English and French
