Job Description Summary: As Risk Analyst you will support second line risk oversight of PayPal Europe by engaging with various stakeholders throughout the organization, providing risk advisory services, supporting prudential deliverables and contributing to the development of the stress testing program.

**Job Description**:
Deliverables and key activities
- Support second line oversight for capital, liquidity and other financial risks
- Work closely with various departments within the bank (e.g., Treasury, Finance, Credit) to identify and manage various risks embedded in their activity, with focus on financial risks
- Provide second-line challenge and oversight of stress testing performed by other functions of the bank and/or execute on stress testing program owned by second line of defense
- Drive execution on key Basel III risk deliverables, including ICAAP/ILAAP and participate closely in production of Pillar III reporting
- Actively support recovery and resolution programs, including ownership of Recovery Plan updates
- Coordinate remediation and closure of risk related self-identified, regulatory and internal audit issues
- Perform regulatory gap analysis and lead discussions on remediation activities
- Reporting to the relevant committees and to the regulators, with focus on risk indictors, recovery indicators, stress testing and sensitivity analysis

Experience and Skillset:

- 3-5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in banking and/or consulting fields
- Master’s degree in Economics/Finance or quantitative disciplines
- Solid understanding of banking regulations (EBA/ECB/CSSG/BCL/Basel III), ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable deliverables
- Good understanding of accounting and quantitative methods used in banking risk management (stress testing models, sensitivity impacts, balance sheet movements etc.)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Interdisciplinary approach and willingness to learn
- CFA, FRM or comparative certifications (or working towards completion) considered a plus
