**Responsibilities**:
- Compliance Oversight: Lead and oversee the firm's compliance framework, ensuring alignment with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to the organization's unique operations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance-related activities, evaluate effectiveness, and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Training and Education: Design and deliver compliance training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of compliance responsibilities among employees.
- Investigations: Conduct internal investigations into compliance-related matters, ensuring proper documentation and resolution of issues.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization, providing guidance to key stakeholders accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum **4 years** of proven compliance experience in a professional services or financial industry setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in compliance will be advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex compliance issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in **French and English**. Italian would be an asset
