**The House of Startups (HoST)**was set up in 2017 by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce with the ambition to become a driving force behind the startup and innovation ecosystem in Luxembourg. Its mission is to federate, promote, and support the startup ecosystem, and to foster innovation in large organizations.
The HoST is also an innovation campus of nearly 6,000 square meters. It welcomes a diverse community of stakeholders and is home to several innovative startup hubs, including the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), the Luxembourg-City Incubator (LCI), and Le Village by CA Luxembourg. It today hosts some 170 startups in the heart of the city.
The Corporate Innovation department of the HoST aims to drive transformation and change in established companies. Thanks to open innovation and collective intelligence, the HoST facilitates several activities to help companies resolve strategic challenges, encouraging transversal collaboration and creativity.
Through its Open Innovation Club, the HoST also bridges the gap between Luxembourg corporates and the innovation ecosystem. Steered by more than 50 Innovation Directors, the Club enables the implementation of open innovation projects through best practice sharing, workshops, and business connections.
**Responsibilities**:
You will contribute to the development of a wide variety of projects within the local startup & innovation ecosystem. As a Corporate Innovation team member, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Assist the manager in ensuring the proper functioning of the corporate innovation activities.
- Identify opportunities to foster and support innovation aligned with the partners’ strategic priorities.
- Create, organize and animate several activities and events (sharing experiences, workshops, challenges, startup scouting, pitching events, etc).
- Keep a watch on corporate innovation trends and new technologies.
- Contribute to the design and development of new services.
- Report on ongoing projects to promote initiatives internally and towards the ecosystem.
**Required skills**:
- You hold a bachelor and/or master’s degree in Business Administration, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship or similar.
- You are fluent in French and English. Luxembourgish and German are a strong asset.
- You are rigorous, passionate about innovation, curious and able to think broadly.
- You have good knowledge of corporate innovation, innovation tools and methods.
- You already have public speaking and workshop facilitation experiences.
- You love planning and implementing new approaches.
- You are open-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
- You are a team player but also can work autonomously.
- You are solution-oriented and optimistic.
- You master both Microsoft Office tools and facilitation tools (Zoom, Mural, Miro, Canva, etc).
