A leading **German-based investment firm** with a global presence is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Luxembourg team. Specializing in **fund infrastructure and real estate,** this company manages a range of** internal holdings across multiple asset classes worldwide.** They are looking for a dedicated accountant to manage the financial operations of their internal structures.
**Senior Accountant - Responsibilities**:
- Manage accounting for internal holdings, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, and financial statements
- Prepare and review annual financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders
- Oversee tax compliance and prepare tax filings in accordance with Luxembourg regulations
- Collaborate with the internal legal, risk, and portfolio management teams to ensure smooth financial operations
- Work with external auditors during the annual audit process
- Assist in optimizing and automating accounting processes to improve efficiency
**Senior Accountant - Your profile**:
- ** 3 to 6 years of experience as an accountant,** ideally within a service **provider/AIF or fiduciary** working with financial clients
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (a Master's degree or professional certifications like ACCA would be a plus)
- Strong understanding of Luxembourg GAAP and relevant accounting standards
- Fluency in **German and English** is essential
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting systems
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
**Senior Accountant - We offer**:
