To join a team of 8 people in Luxembourg, our client is currently looking for a Senior Accountant (M/F/x).
Our client is an international company with headquarters in the US operating in the corporate real estate sector/Premium Workspaces provider. They are developing their European footprint with 9 locations in France, Belgium, Holland and England; their development strategy is to growth fast in these and other European countries. The Luxembourg office is located in the city centre.
**As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible of**:
Supervise data entry and input of invoices according to the chart of accounts
Take ownership of BS & PL and especially cycles not managed by the junior accountant
Follow up on client collections and dunning process in cooperation with operational teams
Organise direct debits in precise and timely manner
Planification and review of payments before submission to the director
Ownership of the monthly closing process in cooperation with the rest of the team
Review, reconciliation and submission of VAT returns
Participation in the implementation of the new ERP
Deliver timely P&L reporting for all entities of the Business Units
Keep balance sheet accounts clean and reconciled minimum quarter and Year End
Review and deliver accurate payment batches for final review
Deliver VAT returns before respective deadlines in coordination with local fiduciary
**For this recruitment, your qualifications are**:
Degree in Accounting or in Management
Experience of min 5 years in Luxembourg, ideally in Real estate or commercial, industrial companies
Fluent French and in English
Dynamic, curious, team player
Autonomous with a desire to learn and develop your skills
