About the Role

**Financial Services Accountant Luxembourg** is an established accounting and advisory firm assisting entrepreneurs, international investors, and family-owned groups with high-value services in **company formation**, **LuxGAAP accounting**, **eCDF filing**, **corporate tax compliance**, and **liquidation procedures**.

To support our growing client base and further expand our activities, we are seeking **Independent Accountants** at different levels of experience. This opportunity is open to **junior professionals**, **senior experts**, and **high-potential profiles aiming to become future equity partners**. The collaboration is structured under an independent status, with full support from our firm.

**Responsibilities**:
Depending on the level of seniority, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and deliver a full range of services, including:

- Complete **bookkeeping** and **statutory accounting** under **LuxGAAP** for various structures: SARL, SARL-S, SA, SOPARFI, SPF, SCSp.
- Preparation and formatting of **annual accounts** (balance sheet, P&L, annexes) for **eCDF filing**.
- Creation and validation of **FIRE, XML or SDF files** for electronic submission to **RCS Luxembourg** via the **eCDF platform**.
- Follow-up on deadlines, audit readiness, and year-end closing adjustments.
- Coordination with external stakeholders: auditors, tax advisors, banks, and legal counsel.
- Drafting and submission of **VAT returns**, **corporate income tax (IRC)**, **wealth tax (IF)**, and related filings.
- Assistance with **company incorporation**, **liquidation**, and business restructuring.
- Daily use of accounting tools and ERP systems (BOB50, Odoo, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Monitoring of compliance with Luxembourg legislation (CNC guidelines, tax rules, regulatory changes).
- Active participation in client meetings and advisory sessions.

Required ProfileJunior Level
- First 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Luxembourg.
- Familiar with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and basic LuxGAAP principles.
- Willing to learn eCDF technical requirements and FIRE file generation.
- Fluent in French or English.

Senior Level
- 5+ years of experience with proven autonomy in managing full accounting cycles and year-end closings.
- Strong knowledge of **Luxembourg statutory obligations**, **financial statement formats**, and **eCDF processes**.
- Familiar with multi-entity or cross-border group structures (SOPARFI, SPF, SCSp).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Future Partner Track
- Senior accountant or manager with 8+ years of experience, ideally with a background in fiduciary or audit firms.
- Capacity to manage a full client portfolio and supervise junior staff or external collaborators.
- Interest in developing new business and contributing to the firm's long-term growth.
- Ability to represent the firm with clients and institutions.
- Willingness to invest in the firm's capital and participate in strategic decision-making.

Legal and Practical Requirements
- **Freelance status (independent contractor)** is required for all levels.
