Equiom (Luxembourg) S.A provides corporate and fund services to a range of international corporate structures and to a broad range of regulated and unregulated alternative investment fund structures. The Team Head Fund Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the Fund Accounting Team and day-to-day management of funds and their investors.

**Your New Role**

You'll have an in-depth understanding of the different roles and responsibilities in fund administration and will have experience in the servicing of alternative investment fund clients, as well as knowledge of regulated and unregulated fund structures and associated regulatory obligations. You will also have experience of effectively overseeing and managing team members.

You'll participate in RFP processes if needed to contribute from technical accounting point or operational expertise.

**Fund Accounting and Governance
In this role your responsibilities will be for the end-to-end provision of Fund Accounting and Fund Governance for our Fund Administration clients, you will be responsible amongst other and not limited to:

- The review and timely sign-off of NAV and other work performed by other members of the team prior to external delivery to clients, auditors and regulators
- The day-to-day management of the Fund Accounting Team and responsible for the work planning and scheduling, as well training and coaching
- Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring the delivery of Fund Accounting services and managing the relevant resources to achieve optimum levels of quality, efficiency and effectiveness
- Serve as point of escalation and issue resolution regarding technical and client service matters
- Oversee and review of financial statements, regulatory and tax reporting
- Oversee Transfer Agency activities of the team: Investor’s dealing instructions, payment, register maintenance and query management
- Lead, coordination and support for client onboarding, including fund/investor documentation and other change projects

You will also have an important client servicing role and will actively support our Head of Client Services and Management Directors in the management of the relationship with our clients

You'll take on Luxembourg directorships on client entities (regulated and non-regulated)

You'll analyse the current client book to identify any revenue risk and growth opportunities

**Risk Culture**

Protect corporate reputation and promote highest standards of fund governance;
Ensure risk awareness and control environment and develop new procedures to minimise the risk of errors within the department;
Meet the requirements of the Group’s Risk Management Framework, ensuring that:

- Material risks, events and developments are brought to the attention of the Authorised Management and escalated to Group Compliance & Risk where appropriate
- The local Risk Control Assessment is accurate, complete and up to date
- Risk incidents and risk information are accurately recorded, managed appropriately and provided on time

Develop and manage a transparent and professional relationship with the Management Directors

**Leadership**
- Encourage a culture of ownership
- Build and continue strengthening organisational capabilities and key skills required to deliver business results
- Direct, evaluate, administer, and coordinate the Fund Accounting Team

**Operational**
- Create maintain and ongoing reviews of Service Level Agreements in Fund Governance
- Drive operational efficiencies and target outcomes
- Ensure that adequate operational planning and financial control systems are in place
- Implement, review, and modify Fund Governance policies and procedures
- Any other duties that may be reasonably required from time to time

**What will you need to succeed in this role?**

As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:

- 10 +years’ experience, with a minimum of 5years experience in NAV delivery and Transfer Agency operations
- Experience in service of unregulated and regulated AIF structure
- Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg Fund structures and applicable law & regulations
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of AML/KYC requirements and Investor’s review
- Knowledge of PFS Paxus system a strong (desirable)
- Qualified Accountant or proven track experience (desirable)
- Additional languages such as French, Spanish and German (desirable)
- Additional qualifications in Accounting or Company Secretary experience (desirable)
