**Your Role...**:
- Analyzing and investigating novel scenarios and use cases for 5G/6G-based PNT systems.
- Study of 5G/6G network architectures, waveform design and synchronization algorithms for improved PNT.
- Combined 5G and GNSS time, frequency, and phase synchronization for distributed systems.
- Contribute to the standardization of PNT techniques to the 3GPP standards.
- Implementation of hardware demonstrators using SDR devices.
- Carrying out research in the predefined areas.
- Disseminating results through scientific publications.
- Participating in proposal drafting.
- Assisting in organization of relevant workshops.
**Your Profile...**:
- A PhD degree in Telecommunication Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/engineering with a focus on wireless communications.
- Experience in signal processing for wireless communications and/or navigation algorithm.
- Hands-on in real-time signal processing hardware (CPU/GPU/FPGA/SDR) is a plus.
- Development skills in C/C++ and MATLAB are required. Hands-on LabVIEW / NI USRP and/or other SDR devices is a plus.
- International experience is desirable.
- Sound publication track record in relevant international conferences and top journals in the communications and/or navigation research areas.
- Experience of working with industrial projects or public funded research projects is highly desirable.
- Highly committed, excellent team-worker, and strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
