Operations Officer

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Oversee and coordinate daily payment and e-money operations, including transaction processing, reconciliation, and settlement activities.
2. Ensure all payment flows comply with applicable regulatory, AML/CFT, and internal control requirements.
3. Liaise with banking partners, payment service providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely execution of client transactions.
4. Monitor operational risks and incidents, and assist in the development of corrective and preventive measures.
5. Support the implementation and testing of new products, systems, and operational procedures.
6. Prepare operational reports and metrics for management review and regulatory reporting purposes.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (PSD2, EMD, AMLD, etc.) and internal policies.
**Qualifications & Experience**
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 3+ years of relevant experience in payments, fintech, or banking operations.
3. Strong understanding of electronic money and payment processing workflows in Luxembourg and Europe.
4. Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
5. Proficiency with payment systems, reconciliation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
6.Fluent in English (verbal & written, mandatory), Mandarin Chinese proficiency(verbal & written) is a strong plus (preferred for effective collaboration with China-based e-commerce business teams)
