Getting things right and doing the right thing lie at the core of our AIFM team as they make sure we’re always consistent and comply with current financial regulations. While the role is focusing on Private Equity and Real Estate within the AIFM department, you will need to be a master organizer, enjoy variety and a methodical planner.
You’ll need to be thorough in all you do, using your own judgment to highlight any significant finds and escalate if rules and regulations are breached. Attention to detail is a must have as you'll be responsible for producing timely and accurate compliance and AML reports for the AIFM. You’ll need to ensure we comply and meet our KYC obligations as you organize and conduct automated KYC screening and reporting, safeguarding us from potential risks. You will need to escalate any compliance AML/CFT findings to the General Partner / Client and the Board of the AIFM. You will prepare compliance opinion and ensure quality of AIFM Acceptance Committee Minutes and Investment Proposals and the related documentation. You will support and assist in any request coming from the internal and external auditor of the AIFM from a compliance point of view. You will also ensure the correct handling of complaints and oversee the delegated functions.
Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, pro-active and with an eye for detail, as well as great organizational skills so you can prioritize your day-to-day and meet the deadlines. Building relationships across the business is a must have to succeed and be effective in this role.
Our team are our second line of defense and ensure that we are compliant with applicable laws, corporate and service standards, company policies and procedures. With the support of your team and using your own judgement you will need to identify any risks or concerns and report them in a timely manner.
**Qualifications**:
- Master/Bachelor in Law/Finance or an equivalent degree
- 4-6 years professional experience in a Compliance related function in an AIFM
- Profound knowledge on AIFM legislation and CSSF Circular 18/698
- Deep knowledge on Luxembourg AML and AIF Compliance laws
- Profound knowledge in Delegates Oversight and Complaints Handling will be considered as a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Fluent in English; additional language would be considered an asset
