Head of Order Mgt Projects

ArcelorMittal Long Products Luxembourg (LPL) is looking for a Head of order management Projects and Export.

The Head of order management Projects and Export leads the order management team which includes entering and managing orders, invoicing of finished products linked to these orders, coordinating logistics flows, defining/balancing deliveries in order to minimize our costs.

She/He reports hierarch reports hierarchically to the Head of Customer Service of Long Products Luxembourg (LPL)

**Main responsibilities**
- Ensure continuous training and diversity of all staff in its sector
- Daily contact with Sales, Planning, Production, Logistics and Finance Dpt. throughout the order entry process until shipping and invoicing.
- Participation in the development of new markets and seeks areas for progress in improving the organization of its sector (IT solutions, procedures, etc.)
- Leading the improvement and development of administrative customer service
- Enabling the animation and management of the Project and Export business team
- Ensure that all orders are entered correctly (regular updating of the “Order release checklist”) in order to guarantee proper execution from order confirmation to invoicing
- Ensure that all shipments are invoiced at the price set by the Sales team
- Take over management of commercial and financial issues
- Choose logistics routes that give the best compromise between costs and delivery times
- Inform customers about the allocation of orders to vessels (Export orders)
- Ensure reporting of the Project and Export business
- Ensure that production and shipments are in line with confirmed deadlines
- In collaboration with Logistics and Planning, look for alternatives in case of bottlenecks
- Enable the continuous flow of shipments after production by daily management of financial (credit lines, etc.) and logístical blockages
- Ensure stock level and invoicing forecasts for Export business (push shipments and invoicing based on FCR documents)
- Maximize end-of-month shipments from the port of Antwerp
- Define priority orders in case of of order book overload
- Follow/coordinate/participate in projects related to his activityParticipates in process optimization developments (e.g. Order Entry automation)- Enable understanding and respect of customer requirements- Provide support and expertise to other departments in order to meet customer requirements- Contribute constructively to achieve the common result in customer satisfaction

**Profile**
- Bachelor Degree in logistics, operations management, supply chain, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a similar function, preferably in industry
- Fluent English
- Fluent German
- Intermediate French.
