Job Title: TME R isk Analyst

Reports To: TME Senior Risk Analyst

Role located at: Luxembourg

Job Purpose:

The main purpose of the role will be to assist the TME (Tokio Marine Europe) Senior Risk Analyst with day-to-day maintenance of all the qualitative element s o f the risk management framework, with some quantitative work included. This role will involve significant direct interaction with the European branch offices and as such, some travel to these periodically. This will requir e the candidate to demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Tasks:

Assist TME Senior Risk Analyst :

  • to perform quarterly risk register review process , included meeting Risk and Control owners, and maintain up to date records .
  • to manage the Operational Near Miss and Loss Register and perform the monthly update process .
  • to maintain the Emerging Risks register and framework
  • in the completion of manual data accuracy reporting and produce summary results for onward reporting.
  • to perform the operational risk scenario analysis process.
  • to develop Risk training materials for delivery to the business
  • assist i n the drafting of committee s papers and of regulatory Reports ( e.g. SFCR, RSR and ORSA).
  • Other ad hoc duties.

Skills Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry, within a Risk/Actuary/Compliance/Internal Audit function.

  • Educated to degree level . Any Risk Management-related certification as FRM would be an asset .

  • Strong analytical, written and communication skills .

  • Strong organisational and planning skills .

  • Strong Excel skills .

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Effectively operate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

  • Fluent in English is a requirement and French, German or Spanish language skills advantageous .
