**Present in Luxembourg London and Paris, our client is an independent Alternative Investment Fund Manager backed by a major investment holding company.**
**Reporting to the Conducting Officer, you will be part of the compliance team and you will be responsible for**:
**Compliance**:
- Responsible for producing timely and accurate Compliance and AML reports for the AIFM and the CSSF
- Ensure the AIFM complies and meets KYC obligations (conduct automated KYC screening and reporting), to safeguard the AIFM from any AML potential risks.
- Assist in any request coming from the internal and external auditor of the AIFM from a Risk and Compliance point of view.
- Support in the identification and assessment of compliance risks including AML/CFT risk as well as applicable laws and regulations
- Monitoring compliance with all guidelines, circulars and laws
- Screening of planned fund projects from a risk and compliance perspective
- Maintain the compliance manual containing policies and procedures
- Implementation of a risk-based compliance monitoring program to review the adequacy of control processes
- Drafting of regular reports to Management and Boards on the status of compliance and risk matters
- Perform AML/KYC controls at client onboarding and periodic reviews
**Profiles**:
- Master/Bachelor in Law/Finance/Business Administration/Economic or an equivalent degree
- 2- 6 years of professional experience in Luxembourg in compliance functions of an AIFM, in the field of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt and Infrastructure
- Fluent in English. French is an advantage, any other language would be considered as an asset
- Profound knowledge on AIFM legislation and CSSF Circular 18/698
- Solid knowledge in risk management in the Luxembourg funds industry
- Interest in dealing with the regulatory framework regarding risk management, for example Luxembourg fund law, AIFMD, CDR, ESMA guidelines, CSSF circulars etc.
- Team player with ability to work with clients and other departments
- Autonomous and pro-active approach
- Strong sense of organization
