MANAGER OF KYC TRANVERSAL TEAM (JOB NUMBER: LUX022141) **BNP Paribas** has a presence in 65 countries, with close to 190,000 employees, including nearly 148,000 in Europe. **The Luxembourg branch** plays a major part in its operations, offering clients high value-added services extending from custody to securities lending, fund administration, performance measurement and ratings, and bond issuance services. In this context of its growing, the KYC investor department is hiring a **MANAGER OF KYC TRANVERSAL TEAM** **AML/KYC Team Manager - Transversal Team - Main Tasks** - Undertake day-to-day compliance requests in line with new, update AML obligations to implement in the AML/KYC area - Conduct independent verification of client due diligence information using additional research methods - Thoroughly document research and analysis completed on clients and/or matters in a manner suitable for review by internal and external stakeholders e.g. Regulators, Audit, Risk and Compliance - Review and follow up of Operating Memorandum / SLAs for dedicated funds - Engage and collaborate with team members through the presentation of ideas and recommendations regarding best practice, continuous improvement, departmental processes, policies and procedures - Managing Review results of ongoing screening and monitoring activities to determine if further action or escalation is required, clearly documenting results and decisions made - Provide support and clarification to investors, distributors or client, handling queries and conference calls with multiple participants - Managing funds events and special projects as assigned (e.g.: migration or liquidation) - Attending meetings for Clients’ Due diligence and audit requests - Draft/review AML/KYC operational procedures **Your profile**: - You have between 3 and 5 years’ experience in AML/KYC/Compliance and strong understanding of AML/CTF requirements and financial crime risks associated with the range of services in the legal industry in Luxembourg - You are fluent in English. French, German, Italian and any other language will be considered an advantage - Good knowledge of Luxembourg AML/KYC requirements - Experience with AML monitoring and screening - A recognized AML/Compliance qualification is desirable but not essential - Ability to manage processes efficiently, with accuracy and attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong decision making capabilities - Team player adaptable to fast-paced and changing environment - Good planning, time management and prioritisation skills - Ability to work independently and also to liaise with other departments - Flexibility to work a reasonable shifting schedule is required - Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills - Ability to contribute ideas for process improvements and adapt easily to procedural changes - Positivity and the adoption of a solution-based approach in all aspects of work **Primary Location**: Luxembourg **Job Type**: Standard / Permanent **Job**: OPERATION PROCESSING **Education Level***: Master Degree or equivalent (> 4 years) **Experience Level***: At least 3 years **Schedule**: Full-time
