**About The Role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Engineering to lead the technical vision for our growing engineering team. This role is essential for driving the technical strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring the development of scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Responsibilities include_
- Define and execute the technical roadmap in collaboration with the CTO and CPO, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision and product strategy
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing (product) engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Oversee the technical design and architecture of the platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience. Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to ensure that our tech stack remains ahead of the curve
- Partner closely with Product, Client, and Operations teams to deliver innovative, high-quality products
- Develop and implement best practices for software development and infrastructure that allow for the efficient processing and analysis of large datasets
- Implement and refine engineering processes, including agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and code reviews, ensuring continuous improvement and efficient delivery
- Act as the engineering representative to senior leadership and external stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities
- Qualifications_
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within high-growth startups or scale-up, product-led environments that are data-intensive and/or have strong exposure to AI/ML technologies
- Proven experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams, with a focus on creating a positive and collaborative work environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding scalable and efficient solutions to complex technical challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
