Junior Portfolio Management Officer

M&G Group has had a presence in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg since 2002. The Management Company (ManCo) is responsible for managing all of M&G’s EU domiciled products and services across a wide range of asset classes including equity, fixed income, alternative credit and real estate.

Requirements and Experience:
- Support the oversight of the Investment Management Delegate in line with their investment mandates, legal and regulatory requirements;- Collect, centralise and analyse the portfolio indicators on investment and liquidity positioning and reports received from internal sources and external service providers;- Monitor and analyse fund investment performance;- Support pre-trade approvals on real estate and securitisation investment;- Participate in periodic and ad-hoc investment management due diligence reviews;- Participate in incident management and remediation oversight;- Assist in the product development and product management process;- Prepare periodic governance reports and summaries to management committees and fund boards;- Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant teams across the group; and- Participate in the ongoing enhancement of oversight processes and tools.

The responsibilities of this role are ideally suited to someone who can demonstrate:
- An understanding of Lux Investment Management structures;- Awareness of different investment strategies and asset classes;- 2- 3 years’ experience in a similar position;- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills;- Excellent attention to detail;- Self-motivated; ability to handle change positively;- Qualifications: University degree in finance or economics.- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power point.
