**Your day at NTT DATA**
The Architecture Consultant is a seasoned level expert who is responsible for participating in the delivery of multi-technology consulting services to clients by providing strategies and solutions on all aspects of infrastructure and related technology components.
This role collaborates with other stakeholders on the development of the architectural approach for one or more layer of a solution. This role has the primary objective is to work on strategic projects that ensure the optimal functioning of the client’s technology infrastructure.
We are seeking for an autonomous, highly adaptable professional, with a growth mindset and capable of bridging traditional infrastructure expertise with modern cloud-native paradigms.
**What you'll be doing**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Works in partnership with internal stakeholders on the development of the architectural approach for one or more layer of a solution.
- Participates in the investigation, planning, coordination, and preparation of feasibility studies relative to new computer-based systems and modifications to existing systems.
- Works on strategies and solutions that define meta-architectural designs for solutions, addressing the styles, mechanisms and principles that combine to formulate the architectural vision for a specific environment.
- Collaborates with stakeholders on the development of new services to take to market, information on relevant vertical markets and keep up to date on developments in specific technology domains.
- Participates in the pre-sales process.
- Drives innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, orchestration, and AI-driven optimizations within infrastructure solutions.
- Engages with clients directly and collaborates with sales on selling solutions and services.
- Participates in the delivery of business development processes including opportunity identification, presales, scoping, deal closing and driving delivery.
- Designs principal methodologies to perform a detailed analysis of the client requirements.
- Presents clients with solutions and convinces and persuades internal and external stakeholders of the right course of action.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology and/or Business Management or a related field.
- Relevant consulting and technical certifications are considered as a plus
- At least a VMware VCP-DCV (6 or later) is highly recommended
- A Dell EMC ISM certification or any other Storage Vendor certification is a plus
- Any public cloud Associate Level certification is an asset
**Required Experience**:
- Seasoned demonstrable experience in a similar role within a large-scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment.
- Seasoned multi-technology infrastructure design experience.
- Experience in designing hybrid solutions that integrate on-premises and public cloud infrastructure.
- Broad experience in Datacenter solutions (storage high-end/midrange, SAN, HCI, backup).
- Knowledge of virtualization solutions (VMware, Nutanix, etc.), an experience with VCF is a plus.
- Comfortable with public cloud concepts (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proven expertise in developing cost-optimized, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to diverse client needs.
- Seasoned demonstrable level of expertise coupled with consulting and client engagement experience, demonstrating good experience in client needs assessment and change management.
**Language**:
- English mandatory
- French is considered as an asset
