Data Scientist

SOGETI is looking for a **Data scientist specialised in the Artificial Intelligence** to join our company. As part of the Insights & Data department composed of smart & dedicated people like yourself who make an impact with both internal and client stakeholders, you will be involved in **IT projects related to data life cycle** management as well as in **AI projects**, from our office in Bertrange or directly on client premises. If Artificial Intelligence, data validation, data processing and analysis have no secret for you, then this role is for you **_ Your challenge/your responsibilities :_** - Explore and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights. - Preprocess and clean data to ensure its suitability for AI model development - Design and develop machine learning models using various algorithms and techniques. - Implement deep learning models for tasks such as image recognition, natural language processing, and recommendation systems. - Identify and engineer relevant features to improve model performance. - Collaborate with domain experts to incorporate domain knowledge into feature selection. - Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics. - Fine-tune and optimize models for improved accuracy and efficiency. - Deploy AI models into production environments. - Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into existing systems. - Implement monitoring systems to track the performance of deployed models. - Iterate on models based on real-world performance feedback. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, business analysts, and domain experts. - Participate in presales activities together with the sales team. - Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. **Skills & Requirements**: **Qualification/ Technologies**: - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. - Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) - Knowledge of deep learning architectures and techniques - Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. **Education**: - Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science). - 5+ years university degree encompassing machine learning field. - A background check will be requested upon hiring (criminal record, Education degrees, diplomas & certifications)_ **About the company****: **I LOVE SHAPING THE FUTURE** At Sogeti, technology runs through our veins.
