As Viking proceeds with a steady business expansion, the role of Communications & Campaigns Manager plays one of the key roles in our organizational strategy. This position enhances our brand's voice and market presence, and establishes solid connections with our stakeholders. With the departure of our previous manager to the parent company, this role requires strong leadership and innovative thinking to contribute to continued success and growth.

As Viking EMEA’s Communications & Campaign Manager, you will define the most effective mix of social media and traditional communication to boost product launches, to promote our solutions and to support our recruitment effort. You will produce respective communications as well as plan and manage respective campaigns. In doing so, you will also make a decisive contribution to increase awareness of the Viking brand and to strengthen our positioning as an excellent product distributor, solutions provider and employer.

You will report to our Marketing Manager and be assisted by our tradeshow/event coordinators.

Tasks

**Main responsibilities**:

- Refine content produced by Product Managers and other stakeholders in terms of terminology and phrasing to reinforce the respective message in English
- Craft compelling narratives to engage our target audience and generate impactful communication materials for designated priority areas
- Define an effective communication mix for product launches, promotions of solutions and recruitment efforts
- Develop and use respective communication channels such as social media, blogs, web-casts, press releases, advertisements, magazines, mailings and newsletters
- Plan, launch and manage communication campaigns through various channels and measure success via media monitoring and analytics
- Supervise the organization of tradeshows, conferences and sales meetings, conducted physically as well as virtually, including creation of respective exhibits and management of promotional gifts
- Generate leads for the Sales teams
- Develop and follow an editorial calendar
- Establish and maintain reference lists, create success stories, develop “ambassadors” advocating for Viking
- Develop Viking’s Corporate Identity further, contribute to the conceptual development of Viking as an employer brand
- Contribute to increase awareness of the Viking brand and to strengthen our positioning as an excellent product distributor and solutions provider
- Create promotional materials and media for corporate communications and employer branding
- Support the management in internal communications
- Select and manage external agencies
- Manage respective budgets

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- You hold a business degree (BA/M) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business Administration
- You have more than 2 years of proven experience in an international B2B environment
- You are a proven expert in social media, business communication and direct marketing
- Your verbal and written language skills in English are excellent (German is a plus)
- You are able to understand our technical and business value proposition and to formulate respective messages expressively and concisely to the point
- You are proficient with the MS Office Suite and able to adapt to new tools easily
